RESOLUTION 98-7/, <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING M.A.S.C. MIGHTY KIDS GRANT <br />FUNDING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A <br />CONCESSION/SHELTER AT THE YOUTH SPORTS COMPLEX <br /> <br />the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), via the <br />State General Fund, provides funds to assist political <br />subdivisions of the State of Minnesota for' the development of <br />youth sports and recreation programs; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River desires to develop a concession/shelter at <br /> the Youth Sports Complex. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River as follows: <br /> <br />That the estimated total cost of developing said program shall be <br />$40,000 and the City of Elk River is requesting $20,000 from the State <br />General Fund. <br /> <br />That the Community Recreation Director is authorized and directed to <br />execute said apphcation and serve as the official liaison with the <br />Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 29th day <br />of June, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Sandra A.
