<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Meeting of June 1, 1965 <br /> <br />The meeting was held with Maury Chandler from the Department of <br />Business Development, Members of the Village Planning Commission <br />and the County Planning Board were also in attendance. <br /> <br />Mr. Chandler discussed the "701" planning assistance program of a <br />federal government which is administered by the Department of Business <br />Development of the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />He also discussed the general areas of planning and the procedures for <br />obtaining "701" assistance. <br /> <br />Several examples were given of the cost to various localities throughout the <br />state with a general average suggested of about $5 per capita for a village <br />planning job. <br /> <br />The first step in the "701" program is to complete a Part I application, a <br />copy of which is left with the Secretary. <br /> <br />Subsequent action: the application for "701" assistance "Part I" was completed <br />and sent into the State Department of Business Development. <br />
