Elk <br />River <br />City of Elk River <br />Planning Commission <br />Resolution 25 - 01 <br />A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River Finding <br />that the Purchase of Property is Consistent with the Elk River <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River ("City") has agreed to terms with Coborn's Inc. <br />("Seller") for the purchase of Lot 2, Block 2, Hillside Crossing and approximately 12,500 <br />square feet of Lot 1, Block 2, Hillside Crossing ("Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City will purchase the Property for use as a retail site for municipal <br />alcohol and cannabis sales, which is a permitted use within the zoning district; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan guides the Property of Highway <br />Business uses, which include retail operations; and <br />WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. 462.356, subd. 2 requires the Planning Commission to review the <br />City's proposed purchase of property for consistency with the Comprehensive Municipal <br />Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Elk River, Minnesota, as follows: The purchase of the Property described above is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Municipal Plan. <br />Passed and adopted this 23`d day of September 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Perry Beise, Planning Commission Chair <br />W <br />REI I1 <br />TUBE I: <br />
