CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting was called to order at 06:30 PM. <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> 3. CONSIDER AGENDA <br /> Moved by Commissioner Fermoyle and seconded by Commissioner Varty to approve the <br /> February 12, 2025, agenda. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 4. CONSIDER MINUTES <br /> 4.1 01-08-2025 Parks and Recreation Commission Minutes <br /> 5. OPEN FORUM <br /> 6. PRESENTATIONS, AWARDS, AND RECOGNITION <br /> 7. ACTION ITEMS <br /> 7.1 Free Grace Easter Event <br /> Karli Phelps with Free Grace United Church presented her slideshow for the Easter egg hunt proposal <br /> for Lion John Weicht Park. It would be a bilingual event with their Spanish speaking congregation. <br /> The main event would take place at their building, but the eggs would be hidden along the trail in the <br /> park. The eggs would be plastic and not have candy in them. Participants would be able to turn in the <br /> eggs for prizes at Free Grace United. <br /> The Church would provide signage by the Boys and Girls Club entrance to the park as well as the <br /> entrance on their side off School Street. The event would be two to three hours and participants would <br /> park at the Church location and walk to the park for the egg hunt portion. <br />
