Members <br />present were Darrell Mack, Stuart Lorenz, Rolfe Anderson <br />and John Dietz. <br /> <br />Previous meeting's minutes were read and approved. <br /> <br />II. <br />III. <br />IV. <br /> <br />Treasurer's report was read and approved. <br /> <br />Old Business: <br /> <br />A. An invoice for $6,666.74 was received from Community <br />Education. A motion was made and approved to pay <br />$5,166.74 only. The $1500 balance will be paid after <br />the swimming activity is complete. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. Rolfe will prepare a short story on the 1983 Recreation Program <br />for the Education Advisory Committee's newspaper series. <br /> <br />C. The Community Education Advisory Committee asked the <br />Board for a name of a person for Special Service Award <br />consideration. A motion was made and carried to nominate <br />Jim Dingle. Rofle will convey this information to <br />Liz Kramer. <br /> <br />V. <br /> <br />New Business: <br /> <br />A. The 1984 Recreation Program needs to be submitted to <br />Community Education by October 1, 1983. This date is <br />included in the Joint Powers Agreement. <br /> <br />Some possible offerings were discussed, but it was <br />decided that a final slate should be developed at the <br />. July meeting. The Board's 1984 budget needs to be <br />submitted to Bob Middaugh by August 31. Dennis Carlson <br />will be invited to attend the August meeting for any <br />final adjustments. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
