CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM MR (MEDIUM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) <br /> <br />CASE NO. LUA 98-2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, <br />prescribes the procedure for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on February <br />24, 1998, and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment request for the property generally described as: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 2, Township <br />32, Range 26; together with that portion of the Southeast Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 32, Range 26, lying east of <br />Highway 169 and north of the Burlington Northern Railroad. <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment request and finds the change to be in general conformance to the <br />adopted Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Elk River that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as <br />described above from MR (Medium Density Residential) to LI (Light <br />Industrial)... <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 16th day of March, <br /> <br /> /A~inry~ Duitsman, Mayor <br />ATT~: ,~ <br /> <br />Sandra A.
