Don Strei commented on the <br />diE3cussion of the by-lavJs and felt it vJaS not necessary to change them, <br />in regard to monthly meetin,gs. The minutes vTore approved by Don and <br />seconded by Les. <br /> <br />Bev Rude gave the treasurer's report. We have a balance currently of <br />$11,582.83. Bev reported a difference of $102.00 between the balance <br />in the checking book and the bank's statement, occuring before her term <br />as treasurer. Don moved that the $102.00 be assumed, that amount being <br />deducted from the current balance. Les seconded the motion and it passed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The next order of business \.vas to discuss next year's budget and determine <br />the amount needed for Elk River recreation. This ec;timate 'tdll be <br />submitted to the city and t01tmship councils. <br /> <br />Don moved that the Hecreation Board contribute $125.00 to the Elk River <br />;:~eni()r Citizen;3 Club for their December dinner at the downto'0m Radisf3on. <br />I~nda seconded and the motion passed. <br /> <br />Bev moved that the Board sponsor a community trip to the Children's <br />Theater in December. It was suggested that Sharon Tracy would be <br />very capable in organizing this event. Bob Robideau offered his shop, <br />TrIe Clothesline, for sigrJ.ng up. Bob seconded the motion.
