Using budgeted, unused funds from <br />department vacancies, the City Council has consented to fill this position in advance to allow for important <br />on-the-job training to ensure a seamless transition. <br /> <br />We went to market and received 54 applications for this position. Following interviews, a background check, <br />and a physical exam, we recommend Chad Orgon for this position. <br /> <br />Mr. Orgon worked for the Brooklyn Park Police Department for several years, serving as a Community <br />Service Officer, Investigative Assistant, and Property Room Technician. He has also worked as a Business <br />Agent for Teamsters Local 320 and, most recently, was the Animal Control Officer for the City of St. Cloud. <br /> <br />Due to his many years of experience, Mr. Orgon will start at step C of pay grade 5N.
