<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 27, 1917 <br /> <br />A special meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Saturday Oct 27 <br />1917 <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, F.M. Plank and E.E. Scott Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President at 2:30 P.M. <br /> <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of levying tax for coming year 1918. <br /> <br />On motion of F.M. Plank Trustee seconded by E.E. Scott Trustee the following resolution was <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Resolved that the sum of three thousand five hundred 3500.00 be assessed for current expenses for <br />year 1918. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />C.F. Plank Trustee seconded by E.E. Scott Trustee the following resolution was <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Resolved that the Village Council asses the sum of ½ mill for tax on the assessed valuation of <br />property for the purpose of musical entertainments in public park for the year 1918. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />C.F.
