VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 29, 1922 Meeting of Village Council held on the above date at the Bank of Elk River. Present- M.K. Iliff, President,J.E. Hamlet, C.A. Morse, Geo Cornelius, Trustees. W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. Meeting called to order by the Pres at 3 o'clock p.m. The following bills were presented by John Hamlet Trustee and appointed to look after the construction of sewer across Main St. These bills are for labor only to date. Bills allowed #252.60 Herman Severson 6 ½ days 16.25 John Lackens 15 days 37.50 Giles Casey 15 days 37.50 William Henze 6 days 15.00 Fred Pepin 7 days 25.10 Arthur Louso 15 ½ days 38. 7 5 Abner L'Herault 9 days 31.50 C.E. Booth hauling gravel 4 yds 4.00L.K. Houlton and Donald Davis 5 days 14.50 13 days 32.50 from the Commercial Clerk came before the Council and asked that the Council have Marshall stay all night on his circuit. After some discussion a motion was made seconded and declared carried that the Village Marshal be notified that commencing May 1 his hours of duty would be from 8 o'clock p.m. until 5 o'clock a.m. until forth notice.
