<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />APRIL 12, 1974 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Elk River Town Board was held at 8:30 PM. <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the replacement of a supervisor to replace Earl Schulke. <br />Three names were discussed. Frank Madsen asked Everett Rathbun if he had ever considered <br />changing from Clerk to the supervisor position. The answer being yes, the supervisors voted to <br />accept Everett Rathbun as the third supervisor for one year to replace Earl Schulke for the <br />remainder of his term. This left an opening to someone to replace Everett Rathbun as Clerk. <br />Wallace Fox name was suggested to fill the clerk job as he showed interest in a town office by filing <br />in the annual town meeting for supervisor.
