<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />DECEMBER 2, 1968 <br /> <br />The Town Board met in regular session with all members present. Dale Palmer met with the Town <br />Board. Dale stated that a letter was sent out to ask Towns and Villages if they wished to have help <br />from the County Assessors office. The Assessor proposed that they would charge one dollar per <br />description. A motion was made by Earl Schulke that the office of Assessor in the Township be <br />nd <br />abolished for the period of two years beginning Jan 2 1969 and ending Jan 2 1971 and we enter <br />into a contract with the County Commissions for the same period for a sum of $925.00 per year. <br />Motion was seconded by Melvil Peterson. Motion carried. A motion was made by Earl seconded by <br />th <br />Melvil that the above sum be paid on August 15 each year, motion carried. A motion was made <br />Ronald Ebner be granted a beer renewal.
