<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />OCTOBER 7, 1968 <br /> <br />The Town Board met in regular session with all members present. <br /> <br />Archie Larson met with the board in regard to dedicating a road in his additions which he built this <br />year. He needed a letter of dedication to the Town Board. He plans to present it at a later date. <br /> <br />John Olson appeared before the Board. He had a petition to have the Snake Trail black topped. A motion was made that the Elk River Town <br />Board go on record as stating they feel the road in question, being located starting from the Twin <br />Lakes road about 115 ft north of the culverts that join the 2 twin lakes in lots 1 & 2 sec 19 twp 33 r <br />25 Burns Township in Anoka County and continuing in a westerly direction in Lot 1 & 2 Sec 24 <br />Twp 33 Range 26 Sherburne County crossing the county line about 50 ft north of high water mark <br />of the west Twin Lake still considered a public road as it has never been abandoned. Motion was <br />carried. Louis Hinz stated that hip maintains the above mentioned road for a duration of <br />at least 20 years. Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />E.V.
