<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />APRIL 3, 1967 <br /> <br />Elk River Town Board met with all members present. Eldon Roates appeared before the board. A <br />motion was made by Earl Schulke and seconded by Mel Peterson that the petition by 29 signers to <br />have the road named Island View Drive. The motion carried. The road is located on the north shore <br />of Lake Orono. Mr. Roates discussed a numbering system for the Township. He stated that he went <br />thru this in Coon Rapids. He proposed to have the County Planning group Les Derr, the Township <br />and any other interested parties to meet at a future date to try Planning a comprehensive numbering <br />system.
