<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />JUNE 6, 1966 <br /> <br />The town board met with all members present. The first order of business was a meeting with Mr. <br />Brock and his neighbors about the car junk yard. Mr. and Mrs. Brock, Mr. and Mr. Moon and Mr. <br />and Mrs. Don Larson also an attorney for Mr. Brock was present. John Nord was also present. <br />Erwin Specht came late. Keith Wallace represents Moon and Brock. He stated that the Board was <br />aware that Mr. Gallate is in violation of the zoning regulations. He stated that perhaps a joint action <br />by the Town Board and the County Board. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Everett Specht and seconded by Earl Schulke that the Elk River Town <br />Board take action against Gallate junk yard and legal council he retained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Gallate asked if he could get permit to move in a Quonset type building. The purpose is to be a <br />parts building. Permission was not granted for same. Motion was made by E. Specht seconded by <br />Melvel Peterson that the Quonset building he turned down the motion carried. Erwin Specht and <br />Phil Ratnas appeared before the board.
