<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />MARCH 7, 1966 <br /> <br />The town board met with all Members present. The first order of business was having a plan <br />presented by Curtis Briggs and Bruce Johnson for a part of Camp Cozy. They showed their plans <br />which called for a 2 rod road at present with plans for camping and boating. The land is behind the <br />Welch buildings on Highway #10. A motion was made by Earl Schulke seconded by Everett Specht <br />that Curtis Briggs and Bruce Johnson be allowed to proceed with their plans. Motion carried. Harold <br />Wellinski appeared before the board to ask for the board to pay his rent. He also asked for help on <br />groceries.
