<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 31, 1912 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the office of Geo. E. Page, President on <br />Saturday evening August 31, 1912. <br /> <br />Geo. E. Page, President, E.P. Babcock and B.F. Plummer, George Worden Trustees and W.F. <br />Chadbourne, Clerk. Visitors; F.W. Nickerson, Andre Davis, Bridge Co. representation. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last meeting read and approved. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and <br />clerk ordered to draw warrants for their respective accounts. <br />Fred Nickerson – work on washout - $10.00 <br />Ben Daniels – street work - $8.00 <br />B.F. Plummer – car for strangers - $1.56 <br />Charles Mauser – ½ day of bridge {illegible} - $1.00 <br />Cal Heath – 1 day of bridge {illegible} - $2.00 <br />Oliver Mauser – putting up sign - $1.00 <br />W.R. Smith – goods for Mrs. Kaaue - $13.23 <br />S.T. Judge – street work - $12.00 <br />W.E. Babcock – brick used at washout - $5.00 <br />H.C. Hastings – weighing potatoes August - $72.00 <br /> <br />The {illegible} Bridge Co. presented plan for abutment at Elk River bridge after some discussion it <br />was decided to accept plan and advertise for bids to be opened September 7 at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />No further business, adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F.
