<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 23, 1910 <br /> <br /> <br />The Common Council met at the Bank of Elk River. <br /> <br />Members present: F.L. Salter, President, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, B. Carr trustees, O.J. Whitman, <br />recorder. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:00 p.m. Minutes of the last meeting were read and <br />approved. <br /> <br />The application for transfer of liquor license to S.A. Blanchette & Co. was presented and placed on <br />file. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Virgin and seconded by Pollard that the Village Recorder be authorized to <br />cause said application to be published in the Sherburne County Star news for two consecutive weeks <br />and hearing for same fixed for September 2, 1910 at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />No further business adjourned carried. <br /> <br />O.J.
