<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 20, 1910 <br /> <br /> <br />The Common Council met at Bank of Elk River. <br /> <br />Members present: F.L. Salter, President, B. Carr, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, trustees, O.J. Whitman, <br />recorder. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:30 p.m. Minutes of the last meeting were read and <br />approved. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were audited and allowed: <br />2081 - F.L. Salter – money advanced for Richard Davis - $3.86 <br />2082 – W.H. Thorpe? – care of Richard Davis - $3.00 <br />2083 – A. C. Morgan – board and bedding for Richard Davis - $8.65 <br />2084 – S.F. Wright – care taking of Richard Davis - $13.88 <br />2085 – Geo E. Parsons – medical care for Richard Davis - $11.00 <br />2086 – John Bither – care of Richard Davis - $11.00 <br />2087 – M.K. Iliff – services for Richard Davis - $5.00 <br />2088 – Northwestern Hospital, Princeton, hospital for Richard Davis - $29.31 <br />2089 – Geo. Fields – cleaning room - $2.25 <br />2090 – W. Demick – work on street - $3.00 <br />2091 – J.E. McBride – overhauling fire engine - $1.00 <br />2092 – W.L. Babcock Sons Co. – clothing for Richard Davis – 1.00 <br />2093 – J.E. Hamlett – moving Richard Davis - $.50 <br /> Total - $93.45 <br /> <br />On motion by Whitman seconded by Carr the street committee was instructed to fix bridge <br />approach in upper town and put in tiling across the street at the Webb place and Chadbourne well. <br /> <br />Motion by Virgin seconded by Pollard for the street lighting committee be instructed to have the <br />streetlamps lighted until further action of the Council. <br /> <br />It was decided to engage M.K.
