<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 12, 1910 <br /> <br /> <br />The Common Council met at Whitman’s office. <br /> <br />Members present: F.L. Salter, President, B. Carr, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, trustees, O.J. Whitman, <br />recorder. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Pollard, seconded by Virgin that the Council approve the transferring of liquor <br />license of M.C. Blanchett to Andrew C. Morgan subject to the approval of his bond. Was carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Pollard, seconded by Carr to remove Oliver Mansur’s name from the list of the saloon, <br />was carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Virgin, seconded by Pollard that G.A. Nickerson’s bill of $10.00 for 100 loads of gravel <br />be laid on table was carried. <br /> <br />On motion the following bills were audited and allowed: <br />2075 – A.N. Dare – printing application liquor license ordinance - $9.80 <br />2076 – A.N. Dare – printing application transfer liquor license - $3.30 <br />2077 - J.E. Hamlet – dragging - $2.40 <br />2079 – M.C. Blanchette – lodging for transients - $1.25 <br />2078 – Geo. Martineau – work on street - $2.00 <br />2080 – Chas. E.
