<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />July 29, 1964 <br /> <br /> <br />A meeting was called with the men interested in a trailer court on the Hugh Leather property farm. <br />Mr. Wilson outlined some of the things that the town board would request before a permit is <br />granted. Such as a financial statement, a statement of what their plans are for this development. <br /> <br />The board is to get requirements drawn up by the County Attorney. Mr. Bright stated that the court <br />would be responsible for fire calls also policing of court. The principles in this enterprise are Mr. and <br />Mrs. Padden and Mr. Yo Ho. A motion was made by Mel Peterson and seconded by J. R. <br />Moldenhauer that this permit be granted subject to the agreement which is to be drawn up between <br />owners and the township. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Klingler appeared before the board to ask for relief for herself. She stated that she needed help <br />th <br />for rent and food.
