<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 9, 1920 <br /> <br />A Special meeting of the Village Council was held at the offices of the Elk River Lumber Co Friday <br />th <br />July 9, 1920. <br /> <br />Members present J.H. Virgin, President, D.W. Longfelllow, Trustee, Bert Carr, Trustee, M.P. <br />Williams, Clerk <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by the President at 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />The purpose of the meeting was to draw up a suitable ordinance for the Village Water system the <br />clerk presented a few ordinances which was sent to him by University of Minn. <br /> <br />Mr. Birch stayed we should get a copy of the Minneapolis Ordinance and was requested to send the <br />council a few. <br /> <br />No more business.
