As a result of the public hearing, the Council
directed ERX to have a sound study conducted by a third party and postponed action on the CUP request.
ERX has requested a work session to discuss the project and the Council's concerns. Concerns discussed
during the council meeting included noise, hours of operation, and communication. ERX would also like to
discuss the 1,000-foot setback requirement.
ERX would like to utilize the extension and work session as an opportunity to determine if it is beneficial
for them to continue with the current CUP request or to remain operating under their existing CUP.
Financial Impact
None
Attachments
Draft City Council Minutes dated May 16, 2022
City Council May 16, 2022, Memo, and Attachments
ERX Meeting Request
The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional service,,` 01 e
and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity INAMIRE1
