Ach, City Planner; Gary Schmitz, Planning Assistant; <br />Kendra Lindahl, Zoning Assistant; Debbie Kleckner, Recording <br />Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Planning <br />Commission was called to order at 7 p.m. by Chair Kuester. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 26, 1995 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA. COMMISSIONER SULLIVAN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br /> <br />The following correction was noted: Page 6 - motion does not state which <br />Commissioner seconded the motion. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER MINTON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AUGUST 22, 1995 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION MINUTES AS AMENDED. COMMISSIONER SULLIVAN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. Mr. <br />Schroeder noted that input from neighborhood residents, high school students, <br />the Chamber of Commerce and various boards and committees was <br />incorporated into the design of the project. Mr. Schroeder reviewed the design <br />drawings, noting locations of the biking/pedestrian pathways, water fountain, <br />dock, band shell/amphitheater, "fish" light posts, etc. Mr. Schroeder explained <br />how the design attempts to make connections with some of Elk River's history <br />
