We
went to market and received 21 applications. Nine candidates were invited for an interview. Following interviews,
reference, and background checks, we recommend Brittani Hanson for the position.

Ms. Hanson had experience performing routine cleaning when she worked at the Foreston Liquor Store. More
recently she has been working in the gas line industry doing mapping, inspections, and coordinating service
requests. Ms. Hanson is anxious to get out from behind the desk and work a more physically active job.

This is a Local 49 Union position and Ms. Hanson will begin at step A in the pay plan. All pay and benefits will be
consistent with union contract and city policy.

Financial Impact
The 2021 costs will be absorbed in the General Fund by other budgeted vacancies. The 2022 costs will be
accounted for in the Building Maintenance budget.

Mission/Policy/Goal
N/A

Attachments
None.

The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional

service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity.
Updated: August 2020
