<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 86-82 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS AND QUOTATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF SPECIFIC COMPONENTS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River has accepted <br />the recommendation from the Elk River Citizens's <br />Building Committee to finance a $250,000 public works <br />garage through a lease purchase plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that the <br />public works garage would be bid out in sections for <br />different components of the building; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, sealed bids and quotations were received by the City <br />staff, opened on October 22, 1986 and evaluated in a <br />memo from Street Superintendent, Phil Hals, to the <br />Mayor and City Council dated November 6, 1986. <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that the bid be awarded to the following <br />lowest bidders contingent upon verification by staff <br />and consultants that each bid is inclusive and <br />according to specifications: <br /> <br />Electrical equipment and installation <br />Plude Electric..................$32,786.96 <br /> <br />Ventilation equipment, louvers and associated <br />ductwork <br />Merit HVAC, Inc................ $13,006.00 <br /> <br />Radiant Heating, Maintenance Area <br />A & G Plumbing, Inc............ $ 4,775.00 <br /> <br />TOTAL ------------------------ $50,567.86 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid be awarded to the following <br />lowest quotations contingent upon verification by staff <br />and consultants that each quotation is complete and <br />inclusive and according to specifications. <br /> <br />Window Units <br />Hayfield Window Co............. <br /> <br />$ 1,117.02 <br />$ 1,117.82 <br /> <br />TOTAL. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the <br />this 6th day of November, <br /> <br />City Council of the City of <br />1986.// ' ..
