<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 85-53 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR BITUMINOUS <br />OVERLAY STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON RIDGEWOOD <br />SUBDIVISION ADDITIONS 1,2,&3 <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1985-1) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the tabulated construction costs for improvement project <br />1985-1 are: <br /> <br />Construction Cost: $54,000 <br /> <br />Administration, Engineering, Legal and Bonding: $11,000 <br /> <br />so that the total cost of the improvement will be: <br /> <br />$65,000. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the Ci ty is hereby declared to be $3,000. <br />The portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />assessed against benefitted property owners is <br />declared to be $62,000. <br /> <br />2. The Ci ty Clerk, with the assistance of the City's <br />Consul ting Engineer, shall forthwi th calculate the <br />proper amount to be specially assessed for such <br />improvement against every assessable lot, piece, or <br />parcel of land within the district affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and <br />shall file a copy of such proposed assessments in <br />his office for public inspection.
