<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 89 - 54 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REASSESSING CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED FOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN THE 1989 TYLER STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, parcel #117-000-262400 is owned by John Williams was <br />assessed in 1989 for street overlay improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a letter of appeal was submitted to the City Council at <br />the June 19, 1989 special assessment hearing by John <br />and Karen Williams objecting to the excessive amount of <br />their assessment; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of this property abutting Tyler Street is <br />swamp and pond therefore eliminating the possibility of <br />subdividing the parcel into two units, each with access <br />to Tyler Street; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined this parcel was over <br />assessed and the assessment should be reduced. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that this assessment be reduced from $3000.00 <br />to $1500.00. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />this 21st day of August, 1989. <br /> <br />J~~~ <br /> <br />James A.
