<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 89 - 14 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REASSESSING A CERTAIN PARCEL ASSESSED <br />IN EXCESS FOR THE 1981 SEWER INTERCEPTOR PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Parcel PID #117-000-284205 is owned by Lois Carton and <br />was assessed $1,819.61 in 1981 for Sewer Interceptor <br />Improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the assessment was not appealed during the normal <br />special assessment appeal process; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this property consists of a pond which has been deemed <br />unbuildable by the City Building and Zoning <br />Administrator and it is not economically feasible to <br />improve the land to a buildable state; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the improvements will never benefit the property; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that because this <br />property is and will continue to be unbuildable, the <br />assessment is excess and should be reduced. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that the remaining portion of the assessment <br />($1,569.98) be reduced to zero and cancelled from the <br />assessment role as certified to the County Auditor. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council on this 27th day <br />of February, 1989. <br /> <br />) ~/7) <br />~~ d,~~~ <br /> <br />James A.
