<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 89-9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE AND <br />THE CITY OF ELK RIVER FOR THE RECEIVING ON A LOAN BASIS OF A <br />BREATH TEST INSTRUMENT TO BE USED BY THE ELK RIVER LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Elk River enter into an agreement <br />with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety <br />for the purpose of receiving from the State of Minnesota, <br />Department of Public Safety, preliminary breath test <br />instruments on a loan basis for use by law enforcement <br />officers to assist in the detection of motorists who may be <br />in violation of Minnesota Statutes Section 169.121, or <br />local ordinances in conformity therewith. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator and Chief of <br />Police be and they hereby are authorized to execute such <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />this 30th day of January, 1989. <br /> <br />~~/f~ <br /> <br />James A.
