<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 02, 1958 <br /> <br />The Village Council acting as a Board of Review met at the Village Hall on July 2, 1958 at 7 o’clock <br />P.M. Members present: Meyer, Bergerson, Briggs and Mayor Johnson. The County Assessor and the <br />Village Assessor were also present. Some personal property and stocks of merchandise were <br />considered and the meeting adjourned to July 14 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />At this meeting the committee from the Fire Department reported on the tabulation of the bids for <br />the fire truck. For the reason that only three bidders were eligible for consideration, the committee <br />recommended that all bids be rejected and advertise again for bids. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Meyer and seconded by Bergerson that all bids be rejected and that re- <br />advertising for bids be considered.
