<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 15, 1939 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the council was held Monday June 15, 1939 at Caleys Hdwr Store <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, and Wm Patenaude, Trustees; <br />Wm H Greupner, Clerk <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting was to act on the 3.2 beer license for Art Leger. A motion was made by <br />Wm Greupner, seconded by Wm Patenaude to grant an on and off sale non intoxicating malt liquor <br />license to Art Leger for one year. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Geo Cornelius seconded by GA Bailey to grant Lee Bishop a building permit <br />to build an addition on his butcher shop.
