<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />January 27, 1958 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Clerk called a special meeting of the town board at the court house. The purpose of the meeting <br />was to decide on whether John James was to move in some building or not also to act on a welfare <br />case of Robert Gardinier. All members were present. <br /> <br />Attendance: \[Not listed\] <br /> <br />It was agreed to let John James move the two houses into the township. John James intends to use <br />one for one year until he can build a new house. The other is to be used more as a permanent home. <br />When completed Morris Wilson is to inspect these houses. Elk River twps referred Robert Gardinier <br />to Anoka County for relief as they are residents of Anoka. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />Everett Rathbun <br />Clerk <br />
