<br />~ <br /> <br />May 11, 1971 <br /> <br />The Special meeting for the Public Hearing on Upland Heights and the Industrial <br />Park was held in the Village Council Room on Tues. May 11, 1971 at 7:30 Fm. <br /> <br />Upland Heights Hearing: <br />Virginia Tabiasin requested that the Council adopt alternative nunber 2. ~ <br />nnpo..",R....a>cx She ojected to Alternative number 1. She was advised by the Council <br />that if the Council extended the line in the future the property owners North <br />of Me~dowvale Road would have to foot the bill. Moved by Syring, seconded by <br />otto to Table the Upland Heights, water and Sewer project until May 17, 1971. <br />Motion Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Industrial Park Hearing <br />Two Railroad Representatives met with the Council. The railroad representatives <br />did not obfect to the proposed improvements , but the did not want the Railroad <br />to be assessed, since the railroad would not receive any benefits from the <br />proposed improvments. <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Wm. T. JIA"...ills informed the Council that he would be willing to bear the cost of <br />the improvements accross his property lines, but the Industrial Park Association <br />would have to' bear the rest of the cost. <br /> <br />Stan Wheaton and Richard Gongoll, representing the Ind. Park Assn., met with the <br />! Council to discuss the proposed improvements on Industrial Park. The informed <br />the Council that they were in favor of the project but that they wanted more time <br />in which to get the site more set up before the improvements be put in. They <br />stated to the Cou.~cil that they were in favor of the proposed improvements. <br /> <br />Anthony Belangy met with the Council to renew his 3.2 beer onsale license. The <br />Council approved the renewal of his 3.2 onsale beer license. <br /> <br />Robert L. Olson met with the Council and presented his police report on the number <br />of hours his men are working, and also the amount of coverage he now has; <br /> <br />~~a~ <br />~--- -"t*l, eifk"-.-1'?fri if s. <br /> <br />No further business: meeting adjourned. <br />
