Greg Albrecht, Sathe Executive Search, has indicated to me <br />that he received 50 applications for the position and directly contacted an additional 35 <br />candidates regarding the position. As you can tell from the attached summary, we have a <br />very qualified group of applicants to consider for this position. <br /> <br />On June 20, 2005, the City Council will need to consider calling a special meeting for June <br />27 in order to have Greg present to the Council his recommendation for the fmalists for the <br />position. Between now and then, Greg will be conducting another round of interviews in <br />order to narrow the field down. Also at this special meeting, Greg will be requesting Council <br />input on interview topics and questions and we need to discuss preferred interview dates. A <br />concern I have is that the July 11 worksession agenda is getting filled up and there may not <br />be sufficient time to conduct the interviews and also do regular worksession business.
