The agreed to <br /> provisions of the contract are consistent with previous council discussions. The new terms are as follows: <br /> Fair Share Dues Language has been removed as Supreme Court decision removed the option for fair <br /> share dues. <br /> Grievance Procedure The period of time in which to file a grievance went from 15 days to 12 days. <br /> Uniforms Uniform allowance will be paid to employees twice each year in equal installments <br /> rather than paid on a reimbursement basis. <br /> Sick Leave Provision for care for family members has been removed and replaced with <br /> reference to state and federal law. <br /> Vacation Leave requests need to be made 24 hours before taken rather than 3 days. <br /> On Call Language was changed to include all employees who are on call through the year. <br /> Mages General Increase of 3% on January 1, 2019. General increase of 2.75% on January 1, <br /> 2020 and 2021 with a possible market adjustment July 1. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The January 1, 2019,general increase is included in the 2019 budget.
