<br />Special meeting of the Village Council <br /> <br />A SPECIAL meeting of the Village-Council was held at <br />Village Hall on Wednesday June5th.1929 <br /> <br />Present Thomas E.Beck Pres <br />L.L.Bishop <br />Joe,Ludvic Trustees <br />W.F.Chadbourne Clerk <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />l~leeting called to order by the FreJJ,at 8,30 P.M. <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of considering the <br />purchase of fire hose, <br />Subject The ~uestion of purchase of hose was considered at the <br />Purchase of last regular meeting of thh Council. and bids were recd. . <br />500 ft.of for hose, but no action taken at that time the Clerk beimg <br />Fire Hose instructed to notify the Eureka Hose Co,and ask for their <br />bid for ;@~ 5CO ft.of hose, <br /> <br />Contract <br />with the <br />EUREKA <br />Fire hose <br />Co, <br />500 ft, 2~-T1 <br />HOSG for <br />550.00 <br /> <br />Mr.J.A.Crane manager of the Eureka Hose kfg.Co.being preSc)lb <br />with his samples.and prices made the Council the following <br />offer. <br />That he would deliver 500 ft.of TRUh~ET brand of fire(~~n) <br />hose complete with couplings for the sum of$550,OO said <br />2~" Hose to stand a pressure of 400lbs,to the inch and <br />guarahteed for 3 years, <br />As a rebate he will send the E.R,Fire Dept.a Check for <br />75.00 dollars and the Village Council a Check for 25,00 <br />making to actyal eost of hose 450,00 <br /> <br />On motion his proposition was accepted and-Contract made <br />for same by a unanimous vote of the Council <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />No further business apPearing meeting adjourned <br /> <br />If.F ~t~~ <br />-W:-F~Ch.adbourne VIllage Clerk <br /> <br />e <br />
