<br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW HELD IN THE <br />CITY OFFICE BUILDING <br /> <br />May 22, 1974 at 7:00 PM. <br /> <br />The Elk River City Council met as a Board of Review at 7:00 PM. \1ay 22, 1974 <br />members were present as follows: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers Cooper, Syring, and <br />Burke, Sherburne County, City Assessor Dale Palmer and members of his staff Glenn Powell <br />and Ty Bishop. <br /> <br />Mayor Lundberg called the Board of Review to order at 7:10 PM. <br /> <br />Leo F. Carey at 1175 5th Street Elk River was the only property owner in attendence he <br />stated that his assessed valuation was to high and that it had increased and should not <br />have because of the Senior Citizens Tax Freeze. <br /> <br />Upon review of his recordes it showed that he was assessed $16,000 last year and $16,000 <br />this year Therefore there was no bas: es for a review of ajustment so no action was taken. <br /> <br />wen:- no <br /> <br />inattendance the meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
