I ' ....... <br />~ 28, 1978 <br />7:30 P.N. <br /> <br />Members present: <br />Toth. <br /> <br />Mayor Madsen, Councilmembers Duitsman, Engstrom, Otto and <br /> <br />Lyle Swanson, City Engineer and Darrell Mack, Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />Operator met with the City Council regarding hireing aa assistant Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant Operator. <br /> <br />Sandra Kuklok and Raymond Yaeger were interviewed. <br /> <br />Moved by Couniclmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom to hire <br />Raymond Yaeger as the assistant Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator. Motion <br />was unanimousily carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Duitsman to in- <br />struct City Engineer, Lyle Swanson to call for bids on 6th Lane and have <br />bid opening at 8:00 P.M. on July 17, 1978. Motion unanimousily carried by <br />a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />The City Council interviewed Jeff Nelson for the position of City Administrator. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Duitsman and seconded by Councilmember otto to hire <br />Bob Middaugh as City Administrator. Motion unanimousily carried by a vote <br />of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Engstrom and seconded by Councilmember Duitsman to <br />offer Mr. Middaugh, $19,500.00 per year wages. Motion unanimousily carried <br />by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />City Counicl discussed the dismissal of Dean Bailey, Liquor Store Clerk. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember Duitsman to adopt <br />recommendation of Health and Safety Committee to dismiss Dean Bailey. <br />Motion fails )-1. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Toth to ask <br />Dean Bailey to resign. <br /> <br />2 yea's <br />2 nea's <br /> <br />Toth and otto <br />Engstrom and Madsen <br /> <br />1.,,- ~_, ,,-1' ;; <br /> <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Engstrom and seconded by Councilmember otto 'to <br />adjourn.
