The intent of the district was to allow certain <br /> commercial uses in areas with the underlying land use of highway business <br /> and certain industrial uses were the underlying land use is light industrial. <br /> Attached is the report to the Planning Commission dated August 26, 1997. <br /> The Commission directed staff to draft an ordinance amendment that <br /> specifically lists what uses are allowed when the underlying land use is <br /> highway business and light industrial. The Statement of Purpose was also <br /> amended to better reflect the original intent of the Business Park district. <br /> These changes are reflected in the attached ordinance. <br /> 13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
