<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />March 22, 1947* <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Board of the Twp. of Elk River met as Board of Organization. Oscar Engstrom was absent. <br /> <br />Present: \[not listed\] <br /> <br />Orville Bernard took oath as Supervisor for three years. E.G. Palmer took oath as Treas. for two <br />years and furnished bonds in the amount of one thousand dollars with William Schwanbeck and <br />Harry W. Nystrom as bondsmen, and A.L. Powell took oath as Assessor for two years and furnished <br />bonds in the amount of five hundred dollars with Walter Malmstrom and Glenn W. Powell as <br />bondsmen. <br /> <br />Everett L. Specht, as senior member of the Board, was chosen as Chairman. <br /> <br />The following bills were allowed: <br /> <br /> <br />Revenue fund <br /> <br />No. 6 Walter S.
