<br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br />TOWN OF ELK RIVER <br />March 14, 1939 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Annual town meeting held at Court-house\[.\] Meeting called to order by clerk after which H.R. <br />Moyer was chosen moderator. <br /> <br />The following business was taken up: <br /> <br />Levy Road & Bridge Fund $800.00 <br />Rev. Fund $600.00 <br />Poor Fund none <br /> <br />After a discussion of removing snow it was decided to levy no money for snow removal. <br /> <br />The Polls were declared open. <br /> <br />At four oclock polls were closed and votes canvassed. <br /> <br />Supervisor Louis J. Specht recd 28 votes <br />Treasurer E.G. Palmer recd 28 votes <br />Assessor B.A. Gray recd 10 votes <br />Assessor H.R.
