<br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br />TOWN OF ELK RIVER <br />March 14, 1922 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Annual Town Meeting of the Town of Elk River held at the Sherburne Co. Courthouse. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the Town Clerk. Fred Sacks was nominated and elected <br />Moderator. <br /> <br />The Treasurer’s report and the report of the Board of Audit were read and approved. <br /> <br />It was voted that the town should levy $2,000.00 for road and bridge purposes and $500.00 as <br />revenue for the coming year. Also that the Assessor received a lump sum of $125.00 for assessing <br />the town for the year 1922. <br /> <br />The following officers were elected by ballot for their respective offices as follows: <br /> <br />Supervisor 3 years David Anderson <br />Clerk 1 year R.R. Simpson <br />Treasurer 1 year E.G. Palmer <br />Assessor 1 year W.R. Jones <br /> <br />\[No note re: adjournment.\] <br /> <br />R.R. Simpson <br />Town Clerk <br /> <br />
