<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />March 21, 1922 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Town Board of Elk River Township met at the Bank of Elk River to qualify the officers elect <br />\[sic\] for the coming year. <br /> <br />Present: B.A. Gray, Chairman; David Anderson and Chas. Hinz, Supervisors; R.R. Simpson, <br />Town Clerk. <br /> <br />The oath of office of David Anderson was filed; also oath and bond of R.R. Simpson. E.G. Palmer’s <br />oath and bond were left at bank for his and bondsmen’s signatures, where they were duly signed and <br />approved and filed with the Register of Deeds. The clerk \[sic\] bond was filed with the Clerk Court. <br /> <br />Ballot being taken for Chairman of the Town Board, Mr. Hinz received two vote \[sic\] and Mr. Gray <br />one. Mr. Hinz declined the office in favor of Mr. Gray, who will be Chairman of the Board for the <br />ensuing year. <br /> <br />st <br />The clerk was instructed to notify W.R.
