Zerwas, Chief of <br /> <br />Police 7J. <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />May 18, 1999 <br /> <br />Police Department <br /> <br />Subject: Support Services Supervisor <br /> <br />This is to inform the City Council that Michelle Masica, the <br />interim records management supervisor, has taken the position <br />profile questionnaire to determine the appropriate point ranking <br />for this position. The results of this questionnaire indicates <br />that the support services supervisor should have a point ranking <br />of 70. <br /> <br />Michelle and I have discussed the possibility of her staying on <br />as the support services supervisor and she has indicated an <br />interest in the position. She has been doing the job since <br />January 6, 1999, along with her crime prevention duties. <br />Michelle has done an excellent job in the records management <br />area. She was able to get the records area caught up. <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee has met in regards to this position and <br />supports the point ranking of 70. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I am, therefore, requesting authorization to promote Michelle <br />Masica to the position of Support Services Supervisor at pay <br />grade 11, step K, of the pay plan effective May 1, 1999. On July <br />1, 1999, Michelle would then move to step L (top step) of her pay <br />grade. <br /> <br />This is an important and key position that needs to be filled <br />prior to our new records management system being installed. <br /> <br />If you have any questions about the recommendation please give me <br />a call. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway.
