<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />December 4, 1906 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At a special meeting of the Common Council of the Village of Elk River, the following-named <br />members were present. (The meeting was held at the furniture store of R.E. Dare.) <br /> <br />Present: R.E. Dare, President; S.M. Crockett, Trustee; H.C. Hastings, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />On motion it was voted that the services of H.C. Hastings, on a salary, as weighmaster, be <br />discontinued from December 3, 1906, and that he continue to act as weighmaster for the balance of <br />the current year for what fees, at the regular price, he may collect. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion were allowed: <br /> <br />W.B. Eaton, lighting and care of street lamps for Nov., $10.00 <br />Sanet Walley, care of Hood family diphtheria case, $12.00 <br />W.F. Chadbourne, \[illegible\] for poor family, $.85 <br />Dr. Geo. E. Parsons, professional services in diphtheria, $25.50 <br />Dr. Geo. E. Page, professional services in diphtheria, $23.00 <br />S.M. Crockett, paid for work on ice break, $1.50 <br />th <br />H.C. Hastings, services as weighmaster from July 30 to Dec. 1 1906 inclusive, $216.00 <br />W.F. Chadbourne, surveying , etc., as per bill recd., $20.00 <br />N.D. Trumbull, use of G.A.B. Hall for elections, $10.00 <br />N.D. Trumbull, work on sidewalks as per bill, $19.55 <br />N.D. Trumbull, \[no detail given\], $2.00 <br />Frank T. White, premium on insurance policy, $40.25 <br />R.E. Dare, sundries as per bill recd., $17.25 <br /> <br />On motion Justus de Booy and S.M.
