<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />Minutes of Village Election <br />January 10, 1905 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice posted of Village Election to be held in Odd Fellows Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 10, <br />1905, the Judges of Election and Village Recorder met at the above-named place. <br /> <br />Judges present, Justus DeBooy and H.B. Nickerson, members of Village Council, and W.F. <br />Chadbourne, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The pools were opened at one o’clock and balloting proceeded until four o’clock P.M., with the <br />following result: <br /> <br />A.H. Nickerson, President of Council, rec’d 71 votes. <br />Justus DeBooy, President of Council, rec’d 60 votes <br />H.C. Hastings, President of Council, rec’d 4 votes. <br />A.H. Nickerson was declared elected President. <br /> <br />H.B. Nickerson, Trustee, rec’d 71 votes. <br />J.H. Romdeune, Trustee, rec’d 71 votes. <br />Justus DeBooy, Trustee, rec’d 71 votes. <br />Frank Frye, Trustee, rec’d 64 votes. <br />Sprague Brown, Trustee, rec’d 64 votes. <br />George Finch, Trustee, rec’d 64 votes. <br /> <br />H.B. Nickerson was declared elected Trustee. <br />J.H. Romdeune was declared elected Trustee. <br />Justus DeBooy was declared elected Trustee. <br /> <br />H.C. Hastings, Recorder, rec’d 69 votes. <br />W.F. Chadbourne, Recorder, rec’d 66 votes. <br />H.C. Hastings was declared elected Recorder. <br /> <br />E.H. Davis, Justice of the Peace, rec’d 69 votes. <br />A.A. Opitz, Justice of the Peace, rec’d 3 votes. <br />E.H.
