<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 14, 1902 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council met in Recorder’s Office. Meeting called to order at 8:30. <br /> <br />Present: C.J. Scoboria, Pres.; A.A. Opitz, Trustee; H.B. Nickerson, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The following bills allowed and orders drawn: <br /> <br />L. Pollard, street work, $12.65 <br />W.B. Eaton, March street lamp lighting and sundries, $18.25 <br />The Best Street Light Co., four street lamps, $30.50 <br />B.N. Thompson, sidewalk lumber and lampposts, $26.03 <br />A.A. Opitz, freight on gasoline, $1.89 <br /> <br />On motion it was decided to notify the Village Improvement Association that the Common Council <br />of the Village of Elk River would subscribe the amount of fifty dollars to go toward improving the <br />village park. <br /> <br />No further business, on motion adjourned. <br /> <br />H.B.
