Dare, Rec. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 25, 1900 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council at 3 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: H.C. Hastings, President; Henry Castle, J.S. Guerney; R.E. Dare, Village Recorder. <br /> <br />The road committee were instructed to do work on Ferry hill and Main St. and have pipe laid into <br />Park. <br /> <br />The Recorder was instructed to have lamper take lamp in front of Harry Babcock’s and put in place <br />one in front of Union Church, and have Mr. Opitz remove jail cage from building at a cost not to <br />exceed $2.00 <br /> <br />The following bills were allowed and ordered paid: <br /> <br />W.H. Houlton & Co., pipe, $80.78 <br />B.L. Babcock & Sons, $50.44 <br />W.B. Eaton, st. lighter, $15.00 \[for\] Sept. <br /> <br />R.E. Dare, Rec. <br />
