<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 9, 1897 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Village Council met at Recorder’s Office on Saturday, October 9, 1897. <br /> <br />Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; L. Pollard; W.F. Chadbourne. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />On motion it was unanimously voted to accept bid of S.S. Trask for putting in tubing at $118.00. <br /> <br />On motion W.F. Chadbourne was appointed to look after said job, provide contract for said Trask <br />to sign and also to see if job was done in a workmanlike manner according to specification. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />W.F.
